Summer Harvest 2025

Notes from the Apiary

This summer's harvest captures an exceptional season. The spring rains gave way to shifting weather that pushed blooms deeper into the season. The colonies built steadily through spring, with bees scouting new nectar sources across the valley, working flowers as they found them. The delayed season brought together blooms that don't usually overlap.

Different wildflowers bloomed throughout the season, each adding to the honey's complexity. We harvested as the last of the early flowers finished, capturing the range of what the valley offered.

Weather & Conditions

This season brought consistent rainfall through spring and early summer. Shifting pressure patterns brought winds that swept through the valley, constantly changing conditions. Despite the rain, many sunny days punctuated the spring months. Minimal rain during the final two weeks resulted in lower moisture content, creating honey of exceptional quality.

Tasting Notes

Extra light amber with bright clarity. The first taste is smooth and light, flowing evenly across the tongue. The sweetness builds gradually into rich floral notes that reach peak intensity before settling to a dry finish.
